Hoosiers Set For NCAA Tournament

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana is the No. 6 seed in the 2006 NCAA Tournament Oakland Regional, and the Hoosiers will face No. 11 seed San Diego State on Thursday, March 16 at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Hoosiers and Aztecs will tip off approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the No. 14 seed Xavier - No. 3 seed Gonzaga game, and that contest starts at approximately 7:20 p.m. EST/5:20 p.m. MST. Should the Hoosiers prevail in the opening round, they'll face the winner between the Musketeers and Zags on Saturday, March 18. That game will tip off at either 3:40 p.m. or 6:10 p.m. MST (5:40 or 8:10 p.m. EST)
Indiana University men's basketball public, faculty/staff and student season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase a limited number of NCAA First and Second Tournament tickets on Monday, March 13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. First round tickets are $45 each. Public and faculty/staff season ticket holders may request to purchase a maximum of two tickets, while student season ticket holders may request to purchase a maximum of one ticket. All requests should be made at the IU Ticket Office or by calling 812-855-4006 or 866-IUSPORTS. Public and faculty/staff tickets will be assigned according to Indiana University's Priority Point System, while student ticket requests will be assigned according to a lottery system. All tickets will be held for pick up at the first and second round tournament site will call.
