Ben Hesen set a new American record in the 50-meter backstroke and Todd Patrick placed eighth in the 200-meter individual medley to highlight the Hoosiers on day six of the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb.

Patrick Advances to Finals in 200 IM at U.S Olympic Swimming Trials
Todd Patrick, who recently completed his eligibility at Indiana University, will compete in the finals of the men's 200-meter individual medley tomorrow, wrapping up day five of competition at the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb.
