Ellie Benson Earns Second Team All-America Honors
6/10/2008 - Indiana freshman rower Ellie Benson was named to the 2008 Division I Pocock All-American Second Team on June 6, becoming the second All-American in IU rowing history. She joins Laura Lazaridis, who earned All-America status in 2005 and 2006, as the only All-America rowers at Indiana. Read Full Release

Indiana Rowers Pickup CRCA Accolades
Freshman Ellie Benson became just the second Hoosier to earn CRCA First Team All-Region honors when the teams were announced recently. Three other Indiana rowers also received scholar-athlete awards from the CRCA.

Indiana Finishes 14th At Aramark Central/South Region Sprints
The Indiana women's rowing season came to a close on Sunday at the 2008 Aramark Central/South Region Springs at Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn. The Hoosiers finished 14th out of 22 teams at the regatta, and eighth out of 12 in their region.
